Spice Girls’ Mel B takes swipe at Victoria Beckham on stage and claims that famous Gucci dress was actually from Primark
SPICE Girls' Mel B hit out at Victoria Beckham during their Spice World Tour last week.
Emma Bunton recalled the moment the group first met over 20 years ago on stage as part of the London leg of their highly-anticipated concerts.
Baby Spice remembered exactly what everyone was wearing on the day that changed their lives.
Speaking on stage at Wembley Arena on Thursday night, she said: "I remember when we all met.
"I was wearing a mini dress and knee high socks, Mel C was in a tracksuit, and Victoria turned up in a black dress."
However, Mel B was quick to throw shade at Victoria - who was known Posh Spice in the group famous for her signature black mini dress - as she insisted the 45-year-old designer was not wearing expensive brands like she does now.
She said: "But it wasn’t Gucci then. It was Primark.”
Before Mel C - also known as Sporty Spice - chimed: "It was Karen Millen.”
Mel B repeated: “It was Primark.”
While the foursome made their way around the UK belting out their hit tracks, including Stop, Goodbye and Wannabe, Victoria jetted to America before flying to Spain to enjoy quality time with her family in Seville.
Victoria - who has sons Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and daughter Harper with husband David Beckham - has insisted there is no bad blood between her and her band mates, and opted out of the reunion tour to focus on her fashion business.
Speaking previously on Instagram about her time in the iconic girl group, she said: "Today marks a special day for the girls as they announce the first tour dates since we performed together in 2012!
"I won’t be joining my girls on stage again but being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish them so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year.
"I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time! X vb #spicegirls #friendshipneverends."

Mel B and Victoria were at loggerheads last year, when VB shut down speculation a Spice Girls reunion was in the works.
Last summer the band mates confronted Victoria asking her to choose between them or Fuller — but she backed the man who turned Brand Beckham into a multi-million pound empire.
However, her decision did not stop them from going ahead with the concert, which proved to be a huge sell out, and even saw an apology from Ginger Spice for quitting the band in 1998.
