Jess Glynne fans ‘in tears’ as she pulls out of Isle of Wight Festival performance TEN minutes before she was due on stage
JESS Glynne's fans were "in tears" after she pulled out of the Isle of Wight Festival just ten minutes before she was due to go on stage.
Officials said the singer was suffering from "exhaustion" and would not appear - which forced them to rush Richard Ashcroft onto the stage early.
Many were left fuming because Jess had appeared at the Spice Girls concerts in the days leading up to the annual festival.
One festival goer told The Sun Online: "The announcer came on to tell the crowd that Jess would not be performing and everyone booed him.
"There were children who had been waiting the whole day to see her who were left in tears.
"The whole stage was set up and ready for her - but she couldn't even give a proper explanation about why she didn't show.
One fan tweeted: "Jess Glynne clearly had too much of a good time with the Spice Girls last night to be bothered to do her Isle of Wight set."
Another said: "Apparently she was too tired - awful excuse!"
A third told her:"Poor show, you would have known before showtime that you could or couldn't perform, especially after recent cancellations. Kids left in tears at the news."

Another fumed: "Spent all weekend in the wet cold mud and rain, for her not to turn up. Gutted."
A spokesman for the Isle of Wight Festival told The Sun Online: "Unfortunately Jess Glynne was unable to perform today due to exhaustion."
It isn’t the first time that Jess has had to pull out of the Isle of Wight - she did she same in 2015 when she had to undergo vocal surgery.
