MEL B stunned tube passengers when they spotted her doing her make-up on the way to the Spice Girls' Wembley gig.

The 44-year-old star might be at the tail-end of the band's sold-out reunion tour, but she proved that she hasn't forgotten her roots.

Happy to slum it on public transport, Scary Spice gave commuters the shock of their lives as she slouched in one of the tube seats while applying make-up.

Prepared for the occasion, Mel had a compact mirror to hand as she preened her look en route.

In other photos, Mel can be seen looking at her mobile phone.

The singer was dressed in casual jeans, black boots, and a denim jacket - with a flat cap completing the look.

Reflected in the window behind Mel were some of her other passengers, who were holding up their mobile phones - no doubt to snap pictures of the Spice Girl.

Mel was joined by some pals for the trip, and also documented the journey on her Instagram page.

Flashing her Oyster card, the star told her followers: "We are on the tube."

She repeated: "We are on the tube on the way to Wembley, so we are not late."

The video cuts out just as the next stop on the line is about to be announced.

The Spice Girls' epic reunion tour will come to an end with the girls' third Wembley Stadium show tomorrow night, when the group will have played to over 700,000 fans in just three weeks.

The Spice Girls delight fans at Edinburgh gig as they move on from sound, fighting and overcrowding issues

The tour initially got off to a rocky start after they were plagued with sound issues, with some fans even demanding refunds as Mel B issued an apology.

Meanwhile a fight broke out at another gig where two women traded punches in front of young children.

The two fans started scrapping halfway through the concert - which sold out Sunderland's Stadium of Light.
