Made In Chelsea’s Louise Thompson cancels her wedding to Ryan Libbey insisting she doesn’t want to ‘rush anything’
LOUISE Thompson has cancelled her wedding to fiancé Ryan Libbey as she needs to "get to grips with the bigger picture first."
The Made In Chelsea favourite, 29, got engaged to Ryan last August and intended to tie the knot this December.
However, with lots of arrangements still to be made, she decided to put their marriage plans on hold.
Speaking to , she said: "We had a venue booked for Christmas, so of course we’ve had to cancel that.
"I hadn't bought my dress, though. I’ve had designers approach me to work on a dress, and that’s something I’ll do when the time’s right.
"That’s the easy part – finding a dress, organising the catering and finalising the guests.
"It’s just the bigger picture for myself and Ryan that we need to get to grips with first."
Last summer Louise revealed how hunky Ryan got down on one knee during a hike in Los Angeles and admitted she “cried for three days” afterwards.
Louise and Ryan beamed as they posed for their official engagement snaps in , with the stunning brunette proudly showing off her enormous diamond ring.
Speaking about the engagement, Louise said: “It’s the most exciting thing that’s ever happened to me in my entire life.”
Ryan managed to get the ring through the airport in London without Louise noticing and hid it in his pocket as they headed out for a hike.
In the interview, Louise admitted she didn’t want to go on the walk and had no idea what Ryan was planning.

She explained: “I was like: ‘I’m really tired – and we’ve got dinner plans.’ He convinced me to come, so I threw on one of his big T-shirts and some cycling shorts.”
The pair walked off onto a private path and as they took a rest, Ryan asked Louise to be his wife.
He said: “I said something like: ‘I’ve had the best birthday ever, but there’s one more birthday wish that I’d like. Will you marry me?’”
Louise added: “He dropped to one knee and opened the box.
“I had to catch my breath because I thought I was going to faint.”
