Spice Girls animated movie is ‘in the works’ with the entire band including Victoria Beckham

THE Spice Girls are working on an animated move that'll include the entire band - even Victoria Beckham.

Victoria, Mel B, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Horner are in talks with Paramount about a film that'll feature the band's hit songs from the 90s.

Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller will produce the movie and Karen McCullah and Kiwi Smith will create the screenplay.

Paramount Animation president Mireille Soria told The Hollywood Reporter that the band "had an idea that we've been developing" and that "they are very involved".

As well as the classics, the movie will also feature new releases.

Variety magazine reported in March last year that a Spice Girls film was being shopped to production companies and all the girls were happy with their likenesses being used in characters.

A source told the publication: "It will feature a girl power message unique to that group member that reflects each girl’s personality.

"The Spice Girls are thinking big in terms of a franchise on a global scale. They’re the most successful girl group on the planet. It’s just what Marvel or Disney needs."

The Spice Girls famously starred in cult flick Spice World all the way back in 1997.

Mel B, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Horner are currently on tour - but just last month the tour was left in jeopardy when Mel told Piers Morgan that she'd slept with Geri during the Spice Girls' early days.

Geri and Mel appeared to fall out after Mel spoke up during a recording of Morgan's Life Stories.

Mel said: "We were best friends. It just happened. It wasn't a thing. It just happened.

"We just giggled at it and that was it. It just happens one time and then you talk about it and it does not really happen again. It was just that one time ..."

Days later, Geri issued a statement denying the liaison saying that she found the claims "very hurtful".

But the girls reunited for the first time since the bombshell when they attended rehearsals and put the blip behind them.
