McFly’s Dougie Poynter kisses new girlfriend Maddy Elmer on a day out in London
IT looks like love is in the air for McFly's Doughie Poynter as he planted a kiss on his new girlfriend Maddy Elmer during a day out in London.
The amorous pair were spotted as they left posh Soho House.
The hunky bassist, 31, couldn't help swooping in for a smooch with his model girlfriend.
Later the pair both posted pictures of themselves in a giant bubble bath aT expensive members club Babington House in Somerset.
The couple have just got back from a romantic break to Dubai, where they posted a loved-up selfie together at Aquaventure Waterpark.
It's not known how long they have been together, but it looks like it's a fairly new romance that started around April time.
They have packed in quite a few trips away, and where also snapped at Disneyland.
Dougie previously dated The Saturdays star Frankie Bridge - now married to former footballer Wayne Bridge - from 2009 to late 2010.
Their break-up reportedly left Dougie heartbroken and resulted in him checking into The Priory for depression - he later confessed to attempting suicide at his lowest point.
Dougie also dated singer Ellie Goulding, who is engaged to art dealer Caspar Jopling, on and off for two years.
Ellie confirmed the pair had split for good in March 2016 due to their busy work schedules.
Meanwhile, earlier this year Dougie revealed that McFly would be back writing new music THIS YEAR.
He told The Sun: “McFly will at least start writing by the summer and I can’t wait.
“I love that band and I love the guys. It’s awesome.”
It will be welcome news for fans who have been unsure about the group’s future since the last tour more than two years ago.
McFly scored seven UK No1 singles and 19 top ten tunes as well as teaming up with Busted for a joint album and live shows as McBusted in 2014.
But Dougie, who launched the band in 2004 with Harry Judd, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones, said McFly’s return was initially supposed to happen last year.
He explained: “We decided to take some time off after we did McBusted because it was a two-year tour and there was naturally some other things everyone wanted to do.
“It actually worked out really well because all the other guys had kids in that time, so they’ve all been home for their kids.

“It almost happened last year but someone had a project or something that was coming up smack bang in the middle. And we just didn’t think there was any point.”
And although they are yet to start writing their next album together, Dougie has been penning some songs.
Speaking on the Sappenin’ podcast, he added: “I secretly kind of am, I’ve got a bunch of ideas so I’m waiting for when we go in.”
