Jordan Banjo won’t perform with Diversity until September after BGT performance delays recovery from major knee surgery
JORDAN Banjo won't perform with Diversity until September after his incredible BGT performance has delayed his recovery from major knee surgery.
The dancer and TV presenter has been suffering with a bad knee after having an operation earlier this year before hosting The Greatest Dancer.
He ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee during a previous Diversity show and only ditched his crutches shortly before The Greatest Dancer finale in February.
Still, the 26-year-old bravely performed with his injury during the BGT finals last night - but now his recovery has faced a set back.
Jordan's brother Ashley's wife Dani told The Sun Online: "Jordan didn’t need a hospital visit but he does have to rest the knee and continue with the strengthening and rehabilitation so he is ready for tour in September.
Diversity were celebrating ten years since their epic win.
The dance troupe beat BGT favourite Susan Boyle to be crowned season three champions in 2009.
Susan Boyle also returned to the show for a stunning performance with Michael Ball last night.
