Emmerdale’s Charley Webb in agony during pregnancy after being diagnosed with debilitating pelvic condition
EMMERDALE actress Charley Webb is in agony during her pregnancy as she is battling with debilitating pelvic condition.
The 31-year-old is expecting her third child with co-star husband Matthew Wolfenden, but has been suffering with morning sickness and SPD (symphysis pubis dysfunction).
“It’s when your muscles have relaxed too much ready for the birth.
"It’s agony.”
Although Charley - who plays Debbie Dingle in the soap - believes pregnancy is a wonderful fact of life, the gruelling pain her SPD leaves her in has tainted her experience.
She continued: "I’d be lying if I said I really enjoy the experience of getting bigger.
"But I appreciate what my body is doing. I think pregnancy is amazing.”
Charley has revealed she would like to give birth in hospital to ease her anxiety, while Matthew would prefer a home birth for his wife.
She said: "Matthew’s up for a home birth but I’d like to be in a hospital for the sake of my own anxiety, in case anything went wrong."
The couple's family plans also differ as the soap star's spouse would love to expand their brood and have 10 children.
She added: "Matthew would have ten kids if he could."
Charley and Matthew announced they were expecting their third child in February this year, as they shared a picture of the couple with their children on a family walk in the woods.
The caption simply read: "#Number3."
Her followers were delighted, writing: "Congratulations to u all thou @miss_charleywebb xxxxxxx."
A second wrote: "Congratulations xx", while a third fan gushed: "Congratulations what a lovely family xxx."
