Alexa Chung loved-up with handsome boyfriend, chocolate heir Orson Fry
HE’S handsome, rich and comes with a steady supply of chocolate.
Yep, Alexa Chung’s new boyfriend might just be the perfect man.
She is loved up with history graduate Orson Fry, of the minted Fry family, who made their fortune in confectionery.
It’s good news for Alexa, who has been single since her split last year from Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgard.
She went public with her new flame at last weekend’s All Points East Festival in London, where they openly snogged during The Strokes headline set.
An onlooker said: “They were having a great time and being very tactile, even though they knew lots of eyes were on them. Alexa looked completely smitten and they kept posing for cosy selfies.”
Orson’s family created Fry’s Chocolate Cream and Turkish Delight bars. He is also well connected through his mother Amanda’s side. She is the daughter of the late zoo-owning gambling tycoon John Aspinall.
Alexa will be more interested in that chocolate though. She has admitted to having a sweet tooth, claiming on the Great British Bake Off that she loves gooey salted caramel brownies.
The fashionista has dated a string of high- profile singers, including Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Hurts’ Theo Huthcraft and Arctic Monkeys’ frontman Alex Turner.
Earlier this year she wrote about her single status, describing herself as slow to fall in love.
She said: “I attend on average five weddings per year. Alone. Beautiful, inspiring, moving weddings.
“Close friends marrying close friends in far-flung places that take months or years to plan. And as these couples slow-motion down the aisle under confetti showers, I’m there clapping and smiling and crying and planning where to stand to catch the bouquet.”
Talking of her desire to fall in love again, she added: “Love feels like there is nothing you can do about it.”
That may be the case, but there is definitely something you can do with all that chocolate Orson will have access to. Eat it.
Rita plays fowl
HER tour is called Phoenix – but Rita Ora’s outfit here seems to be inspired by a different bird.
The singer’s peacock-coloured playsuit for her gig at the Orange Warsaw Festival in Poland was on the tame side for the famously outlandish dresser.
She topped off the look with some sunglasses she had borrowed from either The Terminator, The Tin Man from The Wizard Of Oz – or a solar-panel hut she’d stripped.
Very energy-conscious of you, Rita.
No doubt her outfit will impress the latest gentleman she has been linked to – she has been seen cosying up to Love Island’s Wes Nelson.
Her peacock look will have him preening around her, especially if she shakes a tail feather in his direction.
Spice fever is cooling down
SPICE Girls fever has gripped the country once again, which is why I was stunned to learn they will not record a DVD of the stadium tour.
A source said: “There’s no explanation at the moment, but it’s a very odd decision as it’d be a huge money-spinning venture.”

Phoebe's buying a humble crash pad
PHOEBE Waller-Bridge is the genius behind TV hits Crashing, Fleabag and Killing Eve. She also has a starring role in the Star Wars franchise and now a James Bond screenplay under her belt.
So it’s fair to say she’s minted. A bit surprising, then, to discover she has put in an offer for a £1.1million two-bedroom house in East London.
Just a humble two-bed, Phoebe?
Well, we are talking about London where your life savings can afford you nothing more than the chance to flat-share a reasonably sized garage with a family of foxes.
But surely the golden girl of funny, frank, feminist entertainment would be splashing the cash on something more opulent?
My source tells me: “Phoebe is not the type for a big, outrageous mansion with a moat. She likes East London – and where she’s keen to buy is near her sister who she is close to.
"It’s an arty area and near to Ben Whishaw and Keira Knightley – she really loves it.
“It will be all hers – her playwright and movie director boyfriend Martin McDonagh is not moving in just yet.”
Glad to see she has not gone all Hollywood on us. Yet. That is until she applies to the council to build a super-basement with art-deco jacuzzi, gold-plated gym and
Shakespearean puppet theatre.
Crisis on the cobbles?
LUCY Fallon has denied there’s a crisis on the cobbles, despite a host of stars – including herself – heading out of the door.
She said: “There are amazing people still there. It’s just a few of us branching off to do other things.”

Hooray for Hollyoaks
CORRIE defied its mass cast exodus to emerge with five gongs, but lost out to Hollyoaks for Best Soap.
Faye Brookes stunned in silver last night in Manchester, while Brooke Vincent glittered in gold. Emmerdale’s Lucy Pargeter and Hollyoaks’ Chelsee Healey wowed in black.
Danny Dyer, who posed for a snap with Dean Gaffney, was off to celebrate Enders’ two gongs, saying: “I’m going to have a few drinks.”
Castmate Lorraine Stanley echoed his plans, saying: “It’s going to be a wicked night.”
Shayne Ward looked dapper in a tux as he denied he’s signing up to X Factor All Stars.
He said: “I’ve heard rumours that I’m supposed to be doing X Factor but I’m not. I’m very proud of that show, it’s where my journey began, but it’s just not where I am right now.”
Pleased as punch
CHELSEE Healey was pleased as punch with her black frock.
The former Strictly star and Hollyoaks actress, who plays Goldie McQueen on the Channel 4 soap, said: “I feel like Black Swan in my dress – I love it. It’s like a comfort blanket.”
Ring for happy days
DAISY Ridley has sparked an engagement riddle after her hunky actor boyfriend Tom Bateman was overheard calling her his “fiancee”.
The Star Wars actress has been fast-tracking things with her Murder On The Orient Express co-star since she moved in with him in February.
They are said to be smitten with each other. A source revealed: “Tom introduced Daisy to staff at a Chicago hairdresser’s as his fiancee.
“They were kissing and cuddling and it looked as though she had a ring on her finger.”
As yet there’s been no confirmation of the happy news but I have a feeling she may have found the (Obi) one.
Hot air over Mariah
MARIAH Carey might claim her days of being a diva are over – but someone clearly forgot to tell staff at her French hotel.
Workers got in a right tizz ahead of her show in Paris last night because her room was not warm enough.

A source said: “They took the temperature twice and frantically instructed someone to lower the air con.
“Eventually Mariah strutted in. She seemed pleased enough.
“It was hard to tell if she demanded all that fuss or if it was just the staff.”
Mariah is in Europe on her awesome Caution World Tour.
