JODIE Comer looked unrecognisable with red hair on the set of her new movie Free Guy - set in a video game.

The Killing Eve star, 26, sports short dark locks and military armour to play Molotov Girl in The Truman Show style flick.

Dressed in leather trousers, Jodie stands poker straight and with a serious stance wearing sturdy boots, an unbuttoned white shirt, and shades as she holds her hands behind her back.

She stars opposite Ryan Reynolds as Molotov Girl helps 42-year-old Reynolds’ character realise he’s been living in a video game.

Ryan plays a bank worker in the Shawn Levy movie who finds out that he's just a character in the game that developers have plans of shutting down.

The star's appearance comes amid her meteoric rise to fame thanks to her role as a beautiful assassin in the BBC's Killing Eve.

Jodie, from Liverpool, plays assassin Villanelle in the hit BBC drama which returns for a second series later this month.

The new series of Phoebe Waller-Bridge's Bafta-winning, cat-and-mouse drama is due to drop on Saturday, June 8, 2019, and eager fans were given a taste of what's to come in the eagerly awaited trailer.

n the trailer, Villanelle is seen leaving her hospital bed and squirming as she has to put her feet in some unfashionable shoes to make her escape.

Her voiceover says "sometimes when you love someone you do crazy things".

Eve is then seen confessing to colleagues that she stabbed her rival.

The tension between the pair is palpable as boss Carolyn Martens tells Eve she must find the villain.

She tells the MI5 agent: "Stop it Eve, I can feel your excitement."

Martens, played by Fiona Shaw asks: "Why are you and Villanelle so interested in each other?"

Starring Golden Globe winners Jodie Comer as hired killer Villanelle and Sandra Oh as MI5 agent Eve Polastri, series two will pick up 36 seconds after the events of the season one finale.
