Louise Redknapp admits running a red light while driving £31,000 Range Rover
LOUISE Redknapp today faces a fine of up to £1,000 after admitting running a red light in her £31,000 Range Rover.
The 44-year-old singer was charged last year after jumping the light in Wandsworth, South West London, and failing to give details of the driver.
The mum-of-two asked for a personal hearing in open court before sentencing so she can explain the "circumstances of the offence".
Willesden Magistrates’ Court was told the two litre diesel Evoque was “driven against the indication given by the red signal after 1.4 seconds”.
An official added: "She is alleged to have failed to comply with the indication given by a traffic signal.
“She is also said to have failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a Land Rover."
The former Strictly Come Dancing star admitted driving through the red light at around 9.34am on November 2.
She then failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a Land Rover allegedly guilty of an offence on December 10.
Most drivers receive a a £100 fine and three points on their licence if they are caught jumping through a red light.
If they fail to respond or provide the details of the driver, they could be prosecuted and get slapped with a £1,000 fine and six penalty points.
She split from football pundit Jamie Redknapp in 2017 after 18 years of marriage.
The couple had been dogged by rumours she was having an affair with Strictly co-star Kevin Clifton, who is now in a relationship with Stacey Dooley.
