Gregg Wallace shares cute new picture of son Sid after spending £2k wetting the baby’s head
GREGG Wallace shared a sweet photo of his newborn son Sid Massimo after admitting that he spent a staggering £2,000 wetting the baby's head.
The 54-year-old Masterchef star welcomed the little boy with his 32-year-old wife Anna earlier this month.
Last night, Gregg took to his Instagram Story to share the first social media snap of Sid, with the picture showing him sleeping peacefully in a striped babygro.
The newborn has a full head of dark hair and adorable chubby cheeks, and Gregg added Frankie Valli's song Can't Take My Eyes Off You to the post.
Anna also shared a new photo of her husband gazing adoringly at their son as he gives him a cuddle alongside the heartwarming caption: "Love these two. My wonderful husband and my beautiful baby boy, thank you for making me a Mummy."
The photo comes one day after Gregg and Anna first introduced their bundle of joy to the world with an spread, where Gregg admitted that he celebrated Sid's birth with a boozy party.
The TV star told the publication that he spent "well over £2,000" with his Masterchef co-star John Torode and other pals while Anna recovered in hospital with her parents.
He shared: "I hired a private dining room and ten close friends came, including John Torode.
"We started at midday and finished at 10pm! The bill was well over £2k!
Anna insisted that she was "fine" with Gregg's knees-up, adding that she was too "tired" to join the festivities.
Sid is Gregg's third child, with the star also dad to 25-year-old Tom and 23-year-old Libby with ex-wife Denise.
He married Anna in 2016 after they met three years earlier via Twitter when the photographer asked Gregg for advice on a rhubarb recipe.
The two admitted to trying to have a baby for two years before Anna fell pregnant with Sid - and the pair were even about to start IVF when doctors told them that Anna had fallen pregnant naturally.
Gregg shared: "I was far more scared this time than when I had Tom and Libby.
"I don’t know if it’s because it took us so long to conceive or perhaps it’s because I’m older, but I was scared for their health. I could have hugged the doctors.
"I went down the business end and watched the doctors pull Sid out.
"I saw him take his first breath, it was just beautiful. I looked at him and thought he was perfect."
