Stacey Solomon reveals she feels like she’s been ‘punched in the vagina’ and is devastated she no longer has a baby bump
The star admits she feels empty without her bump - and she's a little sore downstairs
STACEY Solomon says it feels like she has been "punched in the vagina" after giving birth.
The Loose Women star welcomed her third child - but first with boyfriend Joe Swash - "earlier than planned" on Friday.
And now she's missing her baby bump.
In a candid post on Instagram, which showed Joe kissing her tummy following the birth, Stacey wrote: "I’ve lost it today.
"I really miss my bump and baby being inside me.
"I don’t feel I appreciated it enough while I was pregnant and now it’s over.
"Joe and I didn’t have one picture of him with my bump.
"The thought of not having that memory has been really getting me down so today, Joe and my Dad helped me get a picture of what’s left of my bump to cheer me up.
"I love them so much. It’s not the same but it still means the world to me.
"For the record, for all of the people who asked me how excited I was to get my pre baby body back? Was I hoping to 'snap back?' Am I going to train? Etc etc.
"I hate these questions. They’re pointless. And not important or relevant. No one knows how they’re going to feel and what we look like after birth is the very least of our worries.
"The truth is I’m devastated that my belly is shrinking by the day.
"I wish it could stay around for a little longer. I feel empty and hollow. Not to mention like I’ve been punched in the vagina."
Mum-of-three Stacey has two older children from previous relationships.
She had her son Zachery, 11, with her then-boyfriend Dean Cox when she was just 17 and had Leighton, six, with her then-fiance Aaron Barnham.
Stacey has been with Joe since 2015 but revealed she still feels like a “single mum”.
She said her older boys are her “sole responsibility” and she doesn’t expect any man to take them on.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun Online, Stacey said: “Joe and I speak about this a lot and he is an incredible role model in the kids’ lives.
“He supports me fully and he adores me and the children and it is wonderful.
“But still fundamentally I feel like a single mum because they are solely my responsibility and I wouldn’t ask for anyone to take them on.”
Joe is also dad to 11-year-old Harry from a previous relationship.
