Ant and Dec reveal Alesha Dixon is pregnant live on Britain’s Got Talent and fans can’t cope

ALESHA Dixon is pregnant with her second child, it was revealed on Britain's Got Talent tonight.

The 40-year-old singer's happy news was announced by Ant and Dec during the first live BGT semi-final.

The Geordie duo sang a Morecambe and Wise-style opener, dropping in the baby news.

Going to Alesha afterwards, she told them she was over the moon to be carrying her second baby.

Viewers couldn't believe it, with one writing on Twitter: "Ant and Dec have just revealed on #bgt that #aleshadixon is expecting her second child."

Another excitedly typed: "ALESHA DIXON IS PREGNANT."

A third stunned viewer shared: "Did Ant &Dec just announce Alesha Dixon is pregnant? #BGT."

Alesha's burgeoning baby bump could be seen in her tight black minidress.

She looked thrilled to confirm the news, waving to the audience and smiling broadly.

Alesha previously chose to stay silent about her first pregnancy until she hit the six month mark because she had been stung by the "embarrassment" of her former husband's cheating.

The former Miss-Teeq star confessed she "didn't tell anyone" she was expecting baby daughter Azura, who was born in 2013.

Alesha endured a painful public split with So Solid Crew rapper MC Harvey in 2006 when he was revealed as a love-rat after just one year of marriage.

The experience made her think twice about making her baby news public, so she juggled her secret impending motherhood with a judges' stint on Britain's Got Talent.

She confessed: "Well, my partner knew, and my mum.

"But I didn’t tell anyone else in the family. No one at Britain’s Got Talent knew – although they must have suspected because my dresses had to be altered every week.

"And my boobs got huge! Everyone must have thought I’d had a boob job. I kept it a secret until I was six months pregnant."

Alesha added to : "When you’re in a high-profile relationship and you break up it’s embarrassing."

Yet before they found love, she confessed she was always being "teased" about being a singleton during filming for BGT.

She previously revealed: "Simon Cowell was always trying to fix me up with some of the contestants, not having a clue what was really going on.

"Amanda Holden knew, though. She kept it a secret. She also guessed that I was pregnant. I remember her giving me a present – a little outfit – with a note saying, “If I’m wrong, forget about this”, but she wasn’t. She was right."
