The Spice Girls are all smiles as they arrive home after triumphant opening night of tour

THE SPICE Girls were all smiles as they touched down at London Heathrow airport after a triumphant opening night of their reunion tour.
Emma Bunton and Mel B were pictured in good spirits earlier this afternoon, with the '90s girl group performing at Croke Park, Ireland last night.
The two women grinned for the cameras as they made their way out of the terminal, each dressed in comfortable flight clothing.
Mel, 43, kept snug in a bright pink tracksuit and a pair of trainers.
The star wore a casual grey vest top underneath her zip-up jacket and had a pair of sunglasses covering her eyes.
In an apparent nod to her Scary Spice persona, Mel also had a leopard print travel pillow around her neck - and a Louis Vuitton handbag on her arm.
Meanwhile, 43-year-old Emma looked fresh-faced in a loose-fitting floral jumpsuit.
The singer opted for red heels over comfortable flats, adding a hint of glam to her travel look.
Emma kept her blonde hair loose and wavy around her shoulders, matching her bandmate with a pair of oversized sunglasses.
Emma and Mel teamed up with their fellow Spice Girls, Geri Horner and Mel C, for a triumphant return to the stage in front of 75,000 fans last night.
Sans Victoria Beckham, the girls performed their first gig in seven years - delighting fans with a setlist jam-packed with the band's biggest hits, including Wannabe, Two Become One and Mama.
Despite the positive reaction to the show, Mel B took to her Instagram page late last night to apologise to fans for a series of vocal and sound quality issues.
She said: "Hey guys, thank you for attending our show tonight in Dublin. We will see you in Cardiff and hopefully the sound and vocals will be much much better."
With her head on a pillow, Mel ended the video by exhaling deeply.
The Spice Girls went to number one with their debut single Wannabe in 1996 and went on to become the biggest-selling girl group of all time, selling 85million records.
Geri left the band in 1998 and in 2000 the group said they were taking an indefinite hiatus to concentrate on solo careers — but never officially split.

But despite their differences, all four women appeared to be on good terms last night, sharing a group hug at the end of tearjerker Viva Forever and performing a cover of We Are Family.
Their last official performance together was at the closing ceremony of the London Olympics in 2012.
Their much-anticipated 2019 tour continues in Cardiff on Monday, with the group performing a total of 13 sold-out stadium shows ending with three nights at Wembley in London next month.
