Gogglebox OAPs Mary and Marina trying to understand lesbian sex leaves viewers in hysterics
Mary claimed she and her pal 'hadn't lived' as they struggled to understand a raunchy Gentleman Jack scene
GOGGLEBOX OAPs Mary and Marina had viewers in hysterics this evening as they struggled to understand how lesbian sex works while watching saucy scenes from Gentleman Jack.
The pair were among the sofa-dwellers to be shown the raunchy BBC drama, which premiered this week.
In the shock clip, Britain's first modern lesbian Anne Lister [Suranne Jones] was shown having sex with familiar face Gemma Whelan from Game of Thrones.
Watching the scene, 90-year-old Mary asked Marina, 83: "What are they doing to each other then? Because I have never known what they actually did to each other."
Marina replied: "Nor me, I've never been in that situation myself."
Her friend quipped: "We've never lived, have we?"
Viewers at home were tickled by the elderly pair's comments, with one writing: "Oh I bloody love #Gogglebox Mary & Marina talking about lesbians".
Another added: "Mary and Marina watching lesbian sex and saying they’ve never lived cause they’ve never been in that situation, honestly".
Others were confused by how uneducated the Gogglebox cast were in the mechanics of lesbian sex, with one tweeting: "Queer women: Blowing the minds of hetero’s since... forever. Take a minute people, it really ain’t that hard."
A second remarked: "I am losing my s*** at everyone on #Gogglebox not understanding how lesbians s**g."
This is far from the first time that Mary and Marina have stunned Gogglebox fans with their sordid comments, with Marina shocking earlier this month when she recalled a stripper waving his penis in her face during a Full Monty show.
The comment came as the two watched clips from ITV's The All New Full Monty, which featured a group of celebrities stripping off to raise cancer awareness.
Discussing her own X-rated experience, Marina told her pal: "I went to one at The Millionaires Club and they come right up close to you.
"They dance on tables, so of course I was in the corner having a drink and a dancer came right up to me.
"My glasses went and then I had this great big c**k in my face."
Shocked Mary replied: "Oh, I can't believe that you said that!"
And she wasn't the only one, with fans flocking to social media to share their response to the saucy comment.
One viewer wrote: "Haha, how funny are Mary and Marina? 'Knocked my glasses off and a had a big c**k in my face' - comedy gold."
Another added: "Well, the highlight of my night was hearing a pensioner reminisce about getting a massive c**k come in her face."
A third quipped: "I’ll never look at elderly ladies the same way again, now I know they reminisce about big c**ks in their faces."
