CORONATION Street stars Alan Halsall and Tisha Merry have revealed their romance was predicted by a psychic – and they “connect on the deepest level”.
The actress, 25, was told she would find her 'soulmate' in the run up her 26th birthday and just weeks before she went public with the soap legend.
They were rumoured to be seeing each other in January but have since attempted to kept a lid on it.
Tisha said: “It was only a few months ago he (the psychic) said, ‘You’re going to find your soulmate and it’s going to be before you’re 26’ and I was like, ‘Great mate, that’s about four months’ time’.
“I was like, ‘Amazing but I don’t know how I am going to do this’, and then it happened and I was like, ‘What? Crazy’.
“The funny thing is he also said to me, ‘With your soulmate you’re going to laugh a lot, like really laugh, he’s going to be a really funny guy and you’re going to be like kids together’.
“That’s literally the description, I mean, I laugh every day, he’s a hoot.”
Alan, 36, and Tisha shared pictures of their latest romantic getaway to Amsterdam on Instagram.
It came after they went public at co-star Sam Aston’s wedding earlier this month.
Tisha, who played Steph Britton in the ITV soap from 2013 to 2016, said: “It’s an interesting one because I’ve started dating someone who you all know, Alan Halsall.”

But it’s been one of those things where I’ve felt a lot of pressure, people are like, ‘Is he the one? Have you found the one? Blah blah blah’.”
Alan’s latest relationship comes after he split from wife Lucy-Jo Hudson last year.
She has since moved on to Lewis Devine, who played her title character’s best mate Muddles in Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs last year.
