VANESSA Feltz's fiancé has hinted she could replace Jeremy Kyle with her own TV talk show.

THE 57-year-old has had her own show on two previous occasions, Vanessa on ITV and The Vanessa Show on the BBC.

Following ITV's decision to permanently axe The Jeremy Kyle Show yesterday after the death of a participant from a suspected suicide, Vanessa's fiancé Ben Ofoedu suggested she fill the slot in the TV schedule.

Posting a picture of his fiancée on her short lived BBC show which aired in 1999 on Instagram,  Ben wrote: "The Vanessa Show. Mmmm....I wonder #tbt."

Vanessa's fans were quick to support the idea, with one writing: "Shes one of the best in my eyes."

Another added: "Yes yes yes and yes. That's exactly what we need.

"No offence to Jeremy Kyle because it's sad what they have done but Vanessa is what we need.

"A good audience debate show is missing from morning t.v."

A third agreed, writing: "Perfect, let’s hope so!"

Vanessa landed her own self-titled daytime show on ITV in 1994, before leaving to move to the BBC in 1998.

However The Vanessa Show didn't last long, after some guests were alleged to be actors.

While Vanessa had nothing to do with the casting, the show was cancelled soon after, however she has continued to have a successful TV and radio career with regular appearances on This Morning.

Meanwhile, Jeremy, 53, released a statement yesterday saying he is “utterly devastated” that his TV show has been axed.

The daytime star’s series was scrapped after the suspected suicide of participant Steve Dymond, 63.

Jeremy told The Sun: “Myself and the production team I have worked with for the last 14 years are all utterly devastated by the recent events. Our thoughts and sympathies are with Steve’s family and friends at this incredibly sad time.”
