TONIGHT was the British Soap Awards, where TV royalty came together to reflect on a year of drama.

When was the British Soap Awards 2019?

The British Soap Awards 2019 took place last night, Saturday, June 1, 2019.

ITV broadcast the annual ceremony live from 8pm from Manchester’s Lowry Theatre, where it reflected on the biggest storylines from the nation’s most loved TV dramas.

Phillip Schofield  hosted the show.

The TV personality has been helming the ceremony as the official host since 2006.

Fern Britton previously hosted the British Soap Awards from 2006 until 2008 alongside Schofield.
