Stacey Dooley moves in with Strictly Come Dancing pro Kevin Clifton after splitting from ex
STRICTLY lovebirds Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton have moved in together as their romance hots up, The Sun can reveal.
Presenter Stacey, 32, has been staying at pro dancer Kev’s pad since returning from a work trip in Portugal last week.
It comes after she moved out of the apartment in Brighton she shared with former boyfriend Sam Tucknott after news of her romance with Kevin, 36, became known.
A telly source said: “Stacey needed somewhere else to live. Kevin has been really relaxed about letting her stay and so far it’s working really well.
“Stacey is not sure whether she’ll stay for good but for now it’s a good place for her to set up base.”
BBC Three host Stacey and Kevin confirmed their romance on social media last month after hitting it off on last year’s Strictly Come Dancing. They won the BBC1 show.
Her ex Sam told The Sun on Sunday she fell for Kevin as they were spending 14 hours a day together.
Sam confronted Grimsby-born Kevin when he saw an “I love you” text from him on Stacey’s phone while clearing their shared flat.
The 30-year-old said of the meeting: “He went white. I just stuck it on him, ‘You’re an absolute rat, how you conducted yourself. Just a slippery, slimy snake’.
“He didn’t say a word. He looked petrified, so shocked.”
Kevin told audiences at tour Burn The Floor this weekend that his romance with Stacey had made him “public enemy number one”.
He joked: “I’ll get blamed for the Meghan Markle baby as well.”
Kevin, who lives in South East London, was dropped by his management last week over his relationship with Stacey.
