Line Of Duty fans convinced OCG teen Ryan Pilkington will be the next Caddy after he joins police force
Ryan first popped up in series one when he tried to cut off Arnott's fingers but now he has signed up to be a policeman
LINE Of Duty fans are convinced OCG teen Ryan Pilkington will be next Caddy after he joined the police force at the end of the finale.
Throughout series five Ryan has proved himself to be a terrifying member of the gang who is more than happy to stab people when necessary.
He also appeared as an 11-year-old in series one who tried to cut off Arnott’s fingers with a bolt cutter.
There were hints throughout that he might be joining the force after Lisa McQueen said too him as they watched a body being buried: “I feel terrible…I never asked you how your exams went?”
He replied: “Great. I’ve got a date for my interview too.”
And on tonight’s episode he had his interview and was later seen in his passing out parade.
Those watching at home are convinced he will be the next caddy - someone who will work as a fixer for the organised crime group, or the final H in the puzzle.
Taking to Twitter to discuss it, one person wrote: “Ryan going to get himself nice and cosy in the force, I predicte a series 7 reappearance! #LineofDuty”
A second added: "Predictions for #LineofDuty series 6: “Ryan joins AC12, obvs.”
While a third remarked: “So Ryan 'BMX kid' from series 1 is now going to become a corrupt copper? #LineofDuty”
And a fourth added: “I feel like Ryan's gonna be the next #caddy #LineOfDuty #ryan @gregorypiper98 @Line_of_duty @martin_compston @Vicky_McClure.”
The finale of Line Of Duty saw lawyer Gill Biggeloe nearly get her throat cut in the cop-shop loos after being exposed as the traitor in AC-12’s midst.
Sunday night’s bumper-length episode of BBC1’s hit cop thriller also revealed that “H” wasn’t a single person but a network of FOUR corrupt figures — which means there’s still one more left to find.
