Corrie’s Alan Halsall FINALLY goes public with former co-star Tisha Merry at Sam Aston’s wedding
Alan revealed beneath the post that she was his 'plus one' alongside a heart emoji
CORONATION Street’s Alan Halsall has gone public with new girlfriend Tisha Merry and they cosied up together at co-star Sam Aston's wedding.
The soap stars wrapped their arms around each other as they posed for a photo that Tisha, who quit Corrie last year, shared on Instagram in the grounds of Stock Farm in Cheshire.
Tisha stunned in a strapless frock that showed off her toned figure as Alan, who split from ex-wife Lucy-Jo Hudson last May, looked dapper beside her.
Turning towards her, Alan, 36, couldn't disguise his happiness and later logged into Instagram to tease her beneath her post.
The actress captioned their loved-up snap with a simple heart and her boyfriend replied: "You're not a bad +1 I suppose" alongside the heart eyes emoji.
Their romance blossomed earlier this year and they fuelled rumours they were dating when they were spotted arriving at a restaurant in Alan's brand new 175k Mercedes GTc - however they always denied they were dating.
As they made their way into Karam Lebanese Restaurant in Hale Village, Cheshire, Alan showed he was the perfect gent as he protected Tisha from the rain.
The pair have set tongues wagging over the past few months after spending lots of time together.
In February they watched the Salford Red Devils at AJ Bell Stadium and even posed up for pictures together.
They also enjoyed some early morning badminton sessions last month.
Alan took to social media to share his win at the time, with a video showing Tisha laying on the floor of the court dressed in gym wear and surrounded by rackets and shuttlecocks.
"8-0 in games.... to.... Me," he captioned the video.
Tisha continued the playful sports banter, as she filmed Alan resting between games and began poking fun at him for losing.
Tisha played Steph Britton for five years on the long-running ITV drama but left the Cobbles in 2018 after Pat Phelan killed her brother Luke.
Alan - who is best known for playing Tyrone Dobbs in the longstanding ITV soap split from his ex-wife Lucy-Jo Hudson in May last year after nine years of marriage.
The former couple have daughter Sienna-Rae together.
Previously, The Sun Online exclusively revealed she has moved on with Lewis Devine.
