How can I go to the TV Baftas?

The British Academy Television Awards are unlike any other award ceremony, as they actually encourage viewers to to attend the red carpet.

Of course, that doesn’t actually mean you get to walk the carpet. Instead, you’ll be standing in a “viewing area” as the celebrities walk past and usually welcome the opportunity of having a selfie taken with them.

It seems like quite the fun experience, particularly if you’ve been watching plenty of television shows as of late.

BAFTA writes on their official website that guests will need to obtain a wristband, which you can only receive after having filled out a form on their designated page.

There will be two public viewing areas: general red carpet and viewing area for disabled people.

Depending on your given circumstance - and/or the people that are coming along - you’ll have to take that into consideration when applying.

You’d pick one of the two options on BAFTA’s website and fill out the required details to obtain a certain wristband. Consider this as your VIP accessory for the evening.

“Information will be made available on this page on Saturday 11 May at 10.00 GMT,” BAFTA’s official website reads, meaning that fans will have to visit the page on that date for their chance to win wristbands to the extravagant event.
