Strictly’s Kevin Clifton unfollows Louise Redknapp on social media after ‘dropping her’ for Stacey Dooley
STRICTLY Come Dancing's Kevin Clifton has unfollowed Louise Redknapp on social media.
The dancing pro, 36, is cutting the former Eternal star out of his feeds after dropping her for Stacey Dooley.
It comes after Louise accused Kevin of "ghosting her" when he got together with Stacey earlier this year and after Kevin was dropped by the agent he shares with Louise.
Louise - who split from former England footballer Jamie in July 2017 - is said to have become “obsessed” with three times-married Kevin after being partnered together for the 2016 series.
A source said: “Louise is seething — she feels used and humiliated by Kevin. They formed an incredibly close bond during Strictly, which grew and grew once the show finished.
“They enjoyed several nights out together, and Kevin became her closest confidant once her marriage to Jamie ended.
“The pair were in constant contact and basically lived in one another’s pockets for a while.
“He gave Louise the impression he was infatuated with her, and she became pretty obsessed by him.
“In the 2017 series, Kevin was partnered with Susan Calman, but the two never really clicked, so obviously Louise remained incredibly close to Kevin throughout this time.
“But as soon as he got paired with Stacey last year, he stopped returning her calls and effectively ghosted her.
“She even went up to Grimsby in December to support Kevin at a charity fundraiser, but relations soured pretty much from here onward. Louise feels hurt and let down by his actions — she was the famous one and helped bolster his profile.
“Louise was warned about Kevin when they first became friends — she was told he was fame hungry and a social climber.
“Now she feels a bit of a mug after being dropped like a stone as soon as someone else came along.
“She has told pals she is considering speaking to someone formally at the Beeb, to air her feelings.”
Louise unfollowed Kevin on Instagram earlier this year.
