SIMON Cowell stormed off stage after having a disagreement with Amanda Holden over the Frozen act on Britain's Got Talent.
The judge walked out after refusing to vote Katherine, 35, and Joe O'Malley, 58, through.
Amanda declared: "That was my favourite thing of the whole day."
She then demanded Simon listen to the crowd and five them a shot at a place in the semi-final.
But instead of being swayed by the cheering audience, Simon said: "I'll leave it to you" and walked off.
He had earlier told the duo: "I'm not being rude but what the bloody hell was that?"
The pair had appeared on the show last year with another Disney classic.
While their singing and tap-dancing combination impressed Amanda, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon, Simon was not as easily pleased.
After Simon exited the stage, Amanda asked the audience to vote in his place.
It led to Katherine and Joe being voted through.
It was an emotional night for Simon who was in tears over a hero police dog who was stabbed saving handler.
The 10-year-old German Shepherd was knifed with a 10in blade when he lept between PC Wardell and an attacker who used the weapon and caused horrific injuries.
Teary-eyed Simon said: "If I had a golden buzzer left I’d give it to you. When I hear about animal cruelty, especially dogs, it upsets me.
"A dog will literally give up its life for you. Finn’s beautiful, I love him."
