Avengers Google hack – search Thanos and watch your search results turn to dust
Thanos has taken over his search engine results on Google
GOOGLE is helping celebrate the release of Avengers: Endgame with a search engine Easter egg that’s causing quite the confusion with Marvel fans.
When browsing for content with the keyword "Thanos", an icon of the villain’s famous Infinity Gauntlet appears on the right side. But what happens when you click on it? Let’s find out below…
How does it work?
Simply browsing anything that includes the word “Thanos” will bring up the Infinity Gauntlet icon.
Fans will be presented with normal search engines results, as per usual, along with a small Wikipedia section on the right side that describes the character in further detail.
What’s different about this Wikipedia column is the obvious Infinity Gauntlet, which very much stands out on the page given its bright colours and unique position on the search engine.
Clicking it sees the six Infinity gems - which are installed on the Gauntlet - light up before the glove clicks its fingers and the mouse cursor will scroll to the bottom of the page, where you’ll notice search results disappearing.
What's the backstory to the Infinity Gauntlet?
In Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos obtained all six Infinity Gems, allowing him to manipulate all forms of energy; enhance physical strength and durability.
Most importantly, however, it enhances his superhuman ability and boosts the effects of the other five gems he owns.
At the end of the 2018 superhero flick, similar to how the search engine results disappear, in the film including Black Panther and Spider-Man.
The film carries on from where it left off when some of Marvel's biggest superheroes vanished in Wakanda.

It makes a lot of sense that Google would get involved on the fun with its Easter egg considering that Avengers: Endgame is expected to shatter records made by its predecessor.
And once worldwide ticket sales are added to the mix of things, it’s expected that Avengers: Endgame will gross a significantly higher amount than Infinity War, which has made a !
