Chatting to Daniel from the Bond 25 launch in Jamaica, Ross commented that the film will be the star's "last one".

Pausing, Daniel looked down before muttering: "I know, yeah. Apparently it is."

The presenter later asked: “What are you going to miss most, Daniel?”

"I am thinking about right now, we’ve got a movie to make and that’s all that matters and I can’t start thinking about what’s going to happen in the next couple of years.

"We all just want to make the best movie we can."

The 007 star said after the last Bond film - 2015's Spectre - that he would rather “slash my own wrists” than return before signing on again.

It's understood he was swayed by a massive pay offer and promotion.
