007 is set to get dragged into the 21st Century with a feminist makeover

JAMES Bond is set to be turned into a “feminist icon” thanks to two new feisty Bond girls and Fleabag writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

The yet-untitled 25th film will star Daniel Craig, Cuban-Spanish actress Ana de Armas, British film star Lanasha Lynch and Oscar-winner Rami Malek.

The feisty new stars could spell the end of Bond’s famous womanising ways as he’s set to be turned into a #MeToo feminist hero.

Fleabag writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge has been drafted into the writing team after it was reported that 007 star Daniel Craig demanded bosses bring her on board.

Producer Barbara Broccoli said Bond’s attitudes to women would move with the times.

She said: “The Me Too movement has had a huge impact – rightfully, thankfully – on society, and these films should reflect that, as everything we do should.”

Daniel added: “Bond has always adapted for the times.”
