Inside Take That star Howard Donald’s huge family home with chaotic kids playroom
TAKE That star Howard Donald has showed a glimpse of his plush London pad on his Instagram page.
The 55-year-old singer has created the ultimate family home in the heart of the British capital, complete with a kids' playroom and a vintage fireplace - as well as a huge kitchen to whip up tasty treats.
The space will be an ideal place to retreat back to after Howard records the band's podcast, which was revealed this month.
He will also no doubt be grateful for the chill space after Take That added two extra dates to their upcoming tour.
The Flood hitmaker lives with wife Katie Halil and their two sons Bowie, eight, and Dougie Bear, seven.
Katie is a self-confessed yoga fan, adores her pet cats and describes the design of their Kensington home as looking though "a rainbow has puked up" in it.
Howard is often seen cooking in the kitchen, and recently filmed a video showing him whipping up a healthy treat in a frying pan.
The home isn't short of toys for their little ones to play with as they have an entire room filled with goodies.
There's foam puzzle piece flooring and even a huge TV for the kids to watch their favourite shows.
Vibrant furnishings are dotted around their home, including a retro yellow sofa and mosaic table.
The living room is a little more neutral in design with a comfy tan corner sofa and shaggy cream rug.
There's also a plush original fireplace that has been distressed to create a more vintage style.
The flat boasts incredible views of a typical London street lined with traditional redbrick homes and trees.
Howard recently told The Sun that he loves being able to spend more time with his family now Take That enjoy bigger breaks between albums and touring.
The band, made up of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald, have added a seventh show to their run in Manchester and a sixth at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena for 2024.
They went back-to-basics for the new record, with Gary, Howard and Mark secretly working together in the states.
During the interview the trio also confirmed Robbie Williams and Jason Orange would not be a part of the album or the tour.
Back home, Howard also has a significant car collection.
As well as sons Bowie and Dougie Bear, Howard also has daughters Grace and Lola from two previous relationships.
