Strictly’s Janette Manrara rages at Holiday Inn staff after being told her room wasn’t ready
The cast were forced to wait while technical issues were fixed
STRICTLY Come Dancing star Janette Manrara has blasted staff at a Holiday Inn for not having the rooms for her and the cast of her current show ready on time.
The professional dancer took to Twitter to rage at the low cost accommodation chain calling the service “unacceptable” and “not good enough”.
Janette is currently on tour as part of her Remembering The Movies Tour 2019 and after an energetic performance at De Montfort Hall on April 12, she and the cast wanted to crash out.
After the performance her and some of the cast were booked to stay at the Holiday Inn in St Nicholas Circle.
But it turned out that the 10 rooms they had booked were not ready when they arrived at 11pm.
In a now deleted statement on Twitter she said: “To the staff at Holiday Inn in Leicester City Centre, it is unacceptable to not have 10 rooms ready by 11pm, insufficient keys for guests & irritable night staff.
“Our cast was exhausted from a show & deserve a restful & easy check-in for a good night sleep.”
She then finished the tweet with a hashtag which simply says “not good enough”
A Holiday Inn spokesperson said: “We experienced a technical issue with our room key system on the night of Friday 12 April.
“Our team worked to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
Janette will be returning to Strictly this year alongside her husband and fellow professional dancer, Aljaz Skorjanec.
