EastEnders’ Lacey Turner ‘heartbroken’ as adorable French bulldog Reggie dies
The 31-year-old actress took to Instagram to share a sweet tribute to the pup
LACEY Turner has revealed her heartbreak after the death her beloved French bulldog Reggie.
The 31-year-old actress took to Instagram yesterday to share a sweet tribute of her adorable pup.
In the photos, Lacey shares intimate photos of her adorable dog, who she reveals had a love of armchairs, bacon sandwiches and was particularly attached to her husband Matt Kay.
Alongside the snaps she wrote: "My little Winkie!! Oh how you loved a chair. And to lay with your fav person. And bro. You loved a bacon sandwich. But never loved a bath.
"Reg our hearts are broken. How lucky we were to have you. Your truly were special in every way. Sleep tight our lovely boy and thank you for being you."
The sad news comes just a few months after Lacey revealed that she was expecting her first child with her childhood sweetheart Matt.
The couple-who married in September 2017 - shared their baby joy in an issue of OK! Magazine in February, with Lacey showing off her growing bump.
The star told the publication: "I can’t wait to nurture our baby – we’ve dreamed of having a family for so long.
"When you’ve lost babies all you care about is the heartbeat - we’ve had about 12 scans."
Lacey - who plays Stacey Fowler in the BBC One soap - has never spoken about her miscarriages, but admitted during the interview that she had struggled to come to terms with what happened for a long time.

She said: "'It felt like my whole world had fallen to pieces and there’s nothing you can do apart from try and put it back together.
"I blamed myself thinking that I’d done something wrong. I’d think, why me? What did I do?
"But, of course, I hadn’t done anything wrong – it’s all down to chromosomes and luck, really."
