Game Of Thrones’ Bronn will kill the Night King’s undead dragon says new fan theory

The sellsword took a shot at one of the fiery beasts during The Siege Of Casterly Rock and is currently working for Cersei

GAME Of Thrones fans are convinced that Bronn will kill a dragon in the series' epic finale.

The sellsword, played by Jerome Flynn, made his season 8 debut butt-naked with three prostitutes - and bragged about having shot a dragon before.

And now it seems Bronn is destined for greater things as the dangerous sword for hire might be the only one skilled enough to take on the Night King's Ice Dragon.

Bronn has previous experience in fighting dragons.

During The Siege of Casterly Rock - in episode 4, season 7 - he took a shot at Drogon with a huge crossbow called the Scorpion while Daenerys was riding him.

Fans were outraged at the time but now his skill could come in handy when Viserion is breathing ice fire and being ridden by the evil Night King.

"The Scorpion could get its victim finally. And how sweet it will be if this time we see the undead dragon falling from the sky, pierced by Bronn," one Reddit user posted.

"Men will probably build ammo from dragon glass and slay white walkers with it.

"It will be a nice twist if a giant arrow made of dragon glass kills the beast, simillar to the ice spears of the Night King."

But other fans are not so sure about the theory - and think the dragons will turn on each other.

"It's interesting but still seems more likely to me that history will repeat itself and Drogon will slay Viserys," one fan wrote.

"Plus, I think that would make for a much more cinematic fight scene as two dragons duke it out over a chaotic battlefield."

Game of Thrones continues on Monday 22 April at 9pm on Sky Atlantic and Now TV.
