RYLAN Clark-Neal will co-host Strictly's It Takes Two alongside Zoe Ball when the show returns later this year.
A post on the show's Twitter account this morning announced the news, which will see Zoe receive a helping hand on the live BBC show.
The show's official account announced: "Joining Zoe Ball as the co-host of It Takes Two is Rylan! We can’t wait to welcome him to the #Strictly family when the show returns on @BBCTwo in the autumn."
This Morning star Rylan posted his delight at landing the gig on the social media site.
He wrote: "So excited to finally say i’m thrilled to be joining Team @bbcstrictly and can’t wait to get my big old teeth stuck into hosting #ItTakesTwo alongside the gorgeous @ZoeTheBall.
"Thanks for trusting me with another one of your babies! Can’t wait to get going! #DaDaDaDaDaDaDaaaaaa."
Zoe has hosted It Takes Two since 2011 when she took over the role from Claudia Winkleman, who went on to co-host the results show with Tess Daly before replacing Bruce Forsyth in 2014 on the main show after he stepped down.
Rylan filled the BBC Radio 2 slot left vacant by Zoe in January when she made the move to the breakfast show.
He proved a natural on the airwaves after slotting in for the host in the summer.
When it was announced he'd be getting his own show, he said: “I’m so excited and honoured to be joining the BBC Radio 2 family. After stepping in for the amazing Zoe Ball over the summer, working with her fantastic team, I’m thrilled that I’ll be working with them again to fill listeners’ Saturday afternoons with fun, great music and a lot of laughter.
