What are the lyrics to Beyonce's new song Before I Let You Go?

[Verse 1]
You make me happy
This you can bet, yeah
It’s clear right beside me, yeah
And I won’t forget
And I really love you
You should know
I wanna make sure I’m right, boy
Before I let go
[Verse 2]
Now, we had our good times
That we can say
We hurted each other, yeah
And, boy, it’s a shame
I won’t be foolish, no
I wanna know
I wanna make sure I’m bright, boy
Before I let go
Yeah, uh, yeah, yeah
[Chorus]
You know, I thank God sun rises and shines on you
You know there’s nothing, nothing, nothing I would not do, oh
Before I let you go, oh
I would never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never
Let you go before I go
[Verse 3]
I pull up to Coachella (pull up)
And boost with the ghost fellas (pull up)
I brought the squad with me (squad)
Black on black bandanas, I
Dussé and Champagne (champagne)
I did the damn thing (I did the damn thing)
Dirty Diana (dirty Diana)
Singing and dancing all in the rain
Ooh (to the left), I just wanna have a good time (turn around)
Turn around, kick then slide
And twirl that ass to the right, now
Ooh, bunny hop, bunny hop, drop, pop
Cross your legs, turn around and clap
Shuffle to the left, let’s glide now
Ooh, drop it down, drop it down low, low
Low, low, low to the floor, floor
Bring it up, clap, then roll, roll
Step on em, step on em, step on em, step
Step on em, kick on em, stomp then you step
Swag the right, surf the left
Work the middle till it hurt a little
[Outro]
Before I let, before I let, b-b-before I let go
Before I let, before I let, b-b-before I let go

What is the meaning behind it?

The song is very much a declaration of love.

Beyonce sings " I really love you" and that "you make me happy."

Although it does refer to being " hurted" and not wanting to be "foolish" before "I let go."

This could be an allusion to how past heartache has prevented the singer from jumping in with both feet first.

However the upbeat song ends on a positive note, suggesting that she managed to overcome any feelings of resentment or reservation, thanking "God sun rises and shines on you."

When does Beyonce's Homecoming come out on Netflix?

Beyonce's Netflix documentary was released on April 17, 2019.

The programme is entitled Homecoming - a film by Queen B herself.

The behind-the-scenes documentary charts her comeback at Coachella 2018 and has been teased by Netflix.

The trailer shows the superstar's massive crew, entourage and dancers preparing for one of the biggest shows she has ever performed.

What is Homecoming about?

Homecoming is about Beyonce's stunning return to the stage at Coachella in 2018 after having her twins.

It shows Queen Bey, 37, sitting at the helm helping direct her team of hardworking dancers prepare for the show.

It also features footage of her eldest child Blue Ivy, 7,  dancing on a chair, with quick flashes of her two-year-old twins Sir and Rumi.

The trailer for the documentary also shows Beyonce and her husband Jay Z together on stage.

She famously stole the show at Coachella when she surprised fans by performing with Destiny's Child as well as her sister Solange.

Although her fall on stage with Solange also made headlines.
