Kate Moss and Nikolai von Bismarck plan summer wedding as the supermodel marks 18 months off booze

KATE Moss and lover Nikolai von Bismarck are planning to wed — with pals saying they’ll tie the knot next summer.

Aristocratic Nikolai, 32, is set to propose to the supermodel and hopes the couple will enjoy a traditional wedding.

It comes as ex-party girl Kate, 45 — now teetotal — this week marked 18 months off the booze.

And the catwalk queen has also won favour with Nikolai’s posh family — and grown closer to his mother Debonnaire, 59 — who Kate knew from the party circuit before she got together with Nikolai. 32.

A source said: “Kate and Nikolai’s relationship is going brilliantly — and they have chatted about getting married.

“Nikolai has confided in friends about it and wants to do things properly with a traditional proposal and church wedding.

“He is an old-fashioned guy and is madly in love with Kate — so wants to put a ring on it.

“They have talked about marriage for a long time, but now they are both leading a sober and healthy lifestyle it has become more of a reality.

“Their friends are talking about a possible summer wedding next year.

“Kate is getting on really well with Nikolai’s family — especially his mother Debi.

“They previously had reservations due to her party girl image but that is no longer an issue.

“Kate has now done 18 months without a drink, which is really impressive.

“And it has made her a much more sociable and friendly person.”

Kate — who has a daughter Lila Grace, 16, through ex Jefferson Hack — was previously married to rocker Jamie Hince. They wed in Gloucestershire in 2011 but split four years later.

Kate and society photographer Nikolai started dating months after her marriage split.

Both have quit drinking and partying — with friends hailing the “positive” effect their clean lifestyles have had on their relationship.

Our source added: “Nikolai is planning to propose and it is a question of when not if.

“He has the backing of his family — but also, crucially, of Lila.

“She will want to get involved if the wedding goes ahead.”

We told last month how Nikolai was angry after Kate’s ex Pete Doherty sent the model a love note.

But the row blew over as he realised she had done nothing to encourage it.
