Richard Madden snogs Lara Stone in Vogue as he reveals he refuses to strip naked on screen for the sake of it
Richard has insisted that it's not just women in the industry who have their looks scrutinised
RICHARD Madden has been pictured snogging model Lara Stone for his new British Vogue interview, where he has opened up about stripping off for roles and his body image battle.
The 32-year-old hunk sent fans into a tizzy when his bare buttocks were shown during BBC series The Bodyguard, but Richard has now insisted that it's not just women in the industry who have their looks scrutinised.
Speaking to , the Scottish actor explained: "We’re projecting a very unrealistic body image.
"I find myself with actor friends – after we’ve done a kind of barely eating, working-out-twice-a-day, no-carbing thing for these scenes – looking at each other going: 'We’re just feeding this same s*** that we’re against.'
"I’ve done numerous jobs where you’re told to lose weight and get to the gym.
"It doesn’t just happen to women, it happens to men all the time as well."
The magazine's accompanying photoshoot includes a sultry black and white image of Richard reclining in a chair wearing a houndstooth jacket, as well as the one of him and 35-year-old Lara sharing a kiss.
Lara also shared the snogging photo to her Instagram account, as well as two other images of herself posing alongside the star.
One shows Richard leaning into her ear while she stares dreamily into the distance at a table.
Another black and white snap sees the actor holding the blonde beauty close as she places her hand on his chest.

She captioned the post: "Tough day at work with @maddenrichard by @alasdairmclellan for @britishvogue".
The photoshoot comes just days after Richard was pictured strolling around Los Angeles with his actor friend Brandon Flynn, 25.
Brandon, who is the ex-boyfriend of singer Sam Smith, is holding a box of marijuana cigarettes, which are legal in the US state.
It is believed that Richard is living with 13 Reasons Why star Brandon as he tries to crack Hollywood, with the move coming four months after he split from his girlfriend of 18 months, Ellie Bamber.
