RYAN Thomas is enjoying his second holiday in a week, just days after it was revealed he's set to become a millionaire again six years after going bankrupt
The former Corrie star was hit with a £40,000 tax bill he couldn’t pay after blowing his soap wages on an extravagant lifestyle.
But it looks he has put all that behind him as he enjoys his new wealth with another sunshine break
Ryan first enjoyed a short break in Dubai with millionaire best pal Umar Kamani – owner of fashion form Pretty Little Thing.
Then he jetted back to Manchester to collect daughter Scarlett, 10, and they then flew to an idyllic Greek island where he's staying in a luxury villa.
But Ryan probably won’t feel too jet legged after returning from his stay in the Middle East as the pals flew First Class.
Earlier in the week The Sun exclusively revealed how Ryan is on track to be a millionaire again– six years after being declared bankrupt.
He was hit with a £40,000 tax bill he couldn’t pay after blowing his soap wages on an extravagant lifestyle.
But the actor, who played Jason Grimshaw on the ITV show, has managed to pay back every penny and now his performing arts firm has just filed accounts to show his impressive finances– with cash even salted away for HMRC.
Books filed to Companies House show his R. James Thomas Ltd firm has £247,493 in cash.
He’s due to pay the taxman £21,000 for his earnings in 2018.
The generous surplus is after his accountant took out expenses and cash Ryan paid himself as the firm’s sole director.
Ryan’s canny advisors negotiated a fee for him to appear on last year’s Celebrity Big Brother of around £500,000.
The cash has been rolling in since he won the show following the ‘punchgate’ row with ex-Emmerdale actress Roxanne Pallett.
He is now in demand for lucrative social media ad work, TV appearances and magazine interviews, meaning next year’s figures should see him heading towards being a millionaire.
The star also commands a six-figure deal for appearing in panto at Christmas.
Ryan, who quit Corrie in 2016 and has a daughter Scarlett with co-star ex Tina O’Brien, confessed he had no head for figures when he was on the Cobbles.
His wage was around £100,000 and he also commanded £2,000-a-time fees for personal appearances in night clubs.
But the money went on designer clothes, fast cars, endless nights out and restaurants meals and lavish holidays.
The star – now dating ex-Towie star and money savvy Lucy Mecklenburgh - revealed: “It's not something I'm proud of but when I was 16, I had so much money and I was spending it all on my friends...
“I was so generous and I thought it grew on trees and times have changed and it's a big responsibility. I want to provide for Scarlett and I've learnt to put the money away for the taxman and I hope my dreams come true.”
