Inside Coronation Street star Ellie Leach’s glam home with gorgeous all white bedroom and palm print bedding
CORONATION Street’s Ellie Leach has given fans a glimpse inside her glam family home – a world away from character Faye Windass’s Cobbles house.
The actress, 19, showed off her gorgeous all white bedroom with a make up table and en-suite bathroom as she celebrated the newly renovated space.
Ellie, who is best known as the troubled Faye Windass in Corrie, gave fans a look at her new bedroom in her parents home, complete with plush furnishings, fitted wardrobes and palm print bedding.
On an Instagram account – @life.ellieleach – dedicated to the revamp, Ellie explained: “As we had an extension on the side of the house, my mum and dad moved into the new room and my sister moved into their old room so that we could knock the wall down and my room and my sister’s old room would become all one room.
“We lived in a building site for months until i FINALLY got my dream room.”
The new en-suite boasts marble style tiling with black detailing smattered across the room, outlining a large circular mirror and the shower door.
In the bedroom itself, Ellie has focussed on combining whites with metallic highlights – her “show cushions” on the bed feature a smattering of gold.
Her eye for detail is shown with a range of simple, yet statement objects across the room, including a white Buddha wax burner, candles in the shape of a female torso and fashion books paying homage to Gucci and Chanel.
The rest of Ellie’s home follows this theme of neutral colours, with the living room decked out with a classy grey-and-white theme.
In a throwback snap Ellie looked happier than ever as she sat in her pink satin PJs with her name emblazoned on the front, surrounded by gifts as she turned 18.
The soft leather sofas looked cosier than ever and were decorated up with a couple of matching leopard print cushions which added a splash of colour.
Her stunning eggshell fireplace was the main attraction, as well as a blinging mirror with a chunky silver frame that also stood out.
The kitchen had a classic black and white theme to it – with stylish bar stools and black tiled floors.
Inside the dining room, sweet family photos hung from the walls, as well as giant pieces of modern artwork.
Outside the garden looked immaculate with wooden decking surrounding the freshly cut grass.
The garden furniture including elegant chaise long style sofas.
On the cobbles she’s just a school girl, but in real life things couldn’t be more different.
Off-screen the 19-year-old enjoys getting glammed up and jetting off on romantic breaks with her model boyfriend Reagan Pettman.
Showing she is nothing like Faye in real life, she’s often shown dressed up to the nines for her social media pictures.
Just a couple of months ago the star enjoyed a break to Barcelona with Reagan – who is also an actor- and the couple visited the Magic Fountain OF Montjuic and Gaudi’s La Sagrada Familia.
Over the summer Ellie, who is Brooke Vincent’s cousin, headed off on holiday somewhere hot and treated fans to pictures of her sunkissed looks.
Ellie is also a big music fan and attended Leeds Festival last year as well as Britney Spear’s concert.
The actress joined the soap in 2011 as the adoptive daughter of Anna (Debbie Rush) and Eddie Windass (Steve Huison).
She has had numerous dramatic storylines including falling pregnant aged 12 and keeping it a secret from her family.
She gave up her daughter Miley but later reunited with her as she developed a relationship with Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni), who she discovered had HIV.
Ellie, who is thought to have recently finished college, previously revealed she hopes her character goes off the rails again.
“I feel like I want to go back to that, I feel like she’s just dead normal now. I want to have a bit of a rebellious stage again,” she said.
She also admitted she was considering going to drama school so she can get into theatre, telling the Mirror: “I love going to watch it and I wouldn’t do musicals, I’d do plays. I mean, I’d like to do a musical but I’ve not got the voice for it.
“I’m kind of humming and harring about going to drama school, I don’t know yet, I’ll maybe just do a short course because I don’t want to have to leave work.
“I’m kind of lucky because I’ve been in Corrie from such a young age. When a lot of people go to college then go to drama school without even doing much, maybe like little adverts but not main parts, so people do go to drama school to kind of get into the industry, but I’d like to go to get more experience really.
“All I know is TV so it would be nice to learn more about the theatre side and more about TV as well, because you can always learn.”
