Towie viewers heartbroken as Diags breaks down during emotional heart to heart with Chloe Sims
Fans were sad to see loveable Diags get so upset for his best friend
TOWIE fans were left heartbroken after watching Diags break down during an emotional heart to heart with Chloe Sims.
The cheeky chap was beside himself as he tried to explain to his close friend he didn’t want to see her get hurt by love interest Dan Edgar.
As the heart-wrenching scenes played out viewers of the show expressed their dismay at seeing one of the programme’s favourite characters get so upset.
One wrote: “Actually ballin’ watching Diags crying!”
While one user confessed: “When diags cries I cry #TOWIE”
Another added: “Chloe and Diags are giving me proper feels! Tearing up myself here”
Chloe, 36, and Dan, 28, have been growing closer since the group's exotic trip to Thailand and have shocked themselves and their friends by realising they have feelings for each other.
But, in Essex, things are never plain sailing.
In Sunday's episode of the reality TV show, viewers watched as newly-single Dan sought advice from Georgia on his developing feelings.
Meanwhile, while mum-of-one Chloe asked Diags for his opinion on the situation - and both became tearful when it becomes clear that not everyone close to Chloe is in favour of the sudden romance.
It comes after we revealed that Chloe's cousin, Joey Essex - who is best friends with Dan - is also furious.
Our insider told us: "Joey isn’t at all happy that Dan and Chloe are seeing each other. He knows what Dan is like and has seen how he behaves with women on holiday in Ibiza.
“If he thought Dan was going to take care of Chloe and her daughter then he would give them both his blessing.
“But he knows it’s only a matter of time until Dan disrespects her and it all ends in tears. He sees Dan as a dirty dog and feels massively betrayed by him going there with her.”
Joey isn’t the only one furious over Dan’s new romance with Chloe.
Amber Turner has also hit the roof – weeks after being axed from the show after refusing to film scenes with her ex.
