Geri told Piers Morgan she thought Mel B was the "sexiest" Spice Girl years before Mel B's shock confession about their night of passion
GERI Halliwell once raved about Mel B’s “amazing” body as her bandmate admits to Piers Morgan they did have sex.
Speaking about those lesbian rumours Mel B revealed she and Geri did get it on one night but insisted it was only once and wasn’t a “thing”.
In an interview from 2010, Geri told Piers Morgan Life Stories she thought Mel B was the sexiest member of the group.
"She's absolutely gorgeous, even more gorgeous in real life," said the 46-year-old, who is married to Formula 1 boss Christian Horner.
"She has great boobs... she's got an amazing bottom."
On Friday Mel, 43, took her turn on Piers’s show and made the sensational claim that the best friends had sex in their Spice Girls heyday.
The X Factor judge confessed, “She is going to hate me for this because she is all posh in a country house but it wasn’t a ‘thing’, it just happened, we just giggled at it and that was it.
“We were best friends. Have you ever done that?”
She then added of Geri: “She had great boobs.”
Piers, who appeared shocked by the sexy admission, gushed: “This is a Spice Girls bombshell.”
He then continued, “You have never admitted this before, have you? People are going to be fascinated.”
The mum-of-three replied, “Yeah and I’ve said it now. She is going to kill me and so is her husband."
Apparently Mel made a panicked phone call to apologise to Geri straight after the show.
A source said: “The girls all know Mel struggles to keep her mouth shut but Mel C who was in the audience was visibly horrified when it all came out.
“The tour is just two months’ away they don’t want anything jeopardising it, but there were real fears this would upset Geri’s husband and causes serious issues.
Mel later added: “Hopefully when Geri gets asked that, which hopefully she will after this, she won’t deny it, because it was just a thing, a fun thing.”
Geri, who is yet to respond to her bandmate’s confession, has spoken openly about her sexual experiences with women before.
The flame-haired pop star once admitted to DJ Howard Stern she’d once had sex with a woman but realised it wasn’t “my cup of tea”.
She said: "I had a little lesbian thing but I'm not saying anything about it. And I don't think the girl was a real lesbian.
“I'm being honest. I'm not going to describe it. I realised pretty quickly that I was not a lesbian.
"I don't mind boobs but the other bit is not my cup of tea. I could never ever say who it was. It was just one of those moments."
