When did Heather Trott die in EastEnders?

George Michael fan Heather Trott died back on March 21 2012 when she was accidentally killed by Ben Mitchell.

Ben hit her on the head with a picture frame, causing her to call back and hit her head on her kitchen counter.

Jay Brown was there too and – along with Ben’s dad Phil – helped to cover up the crime.

Ben eventually went to juvenile detention for the crime but Shirley – who used to be his stepmother – has never forgiven him.

What happened to her baby?

Heather had given birth to a little boy she called George in 2009. She named him after her favourite singer George Michael. His godparents are Shirley Carter, Minty Pearson and Patrick Trueman.

After Heather’s death Shirley looked after toddler George for a while before he was taken into emergency foster care. He then went to live with his dad which is where he lives to this day.

Who was Heather’s baby’s dad in EastEnders?

Heather had a one-night stand with an unidentified man in February 2009 and was stunned when she discovered she was pregnant.

She chose to keep the identity of the baby’s dad a secret although there were several contenders.

When she gave birth to baby George in October 2009, she decided to call the dad and let him know he was a father.

The episode saw several of the possible baby daddies which included Minty Pearson, Phil Mitchell, Billy Mitchell and Darren Miller head to the hospital.

The father was eventually revealed to be Darren, who actually turned out to be a good dad to little George – one he got over the shock of being a parent!

Ex-EastEnders star Heath Trott says she's desperate to return to soapland and would even take a role in Coronation St during GMB appearance
