Rita Ora rekindles romance with music producer Andrew Watt five months after their split
The pair ended things last October after spending two years together, before the singer went on to have a fling with actor Andrew Garfield
CHOOSING a producer for a boyfriend will help any singer make sweet, sweet music.
Perhaps that’s why Rita Ora has decided to get back together with ex Andrew Watt.
They split in October after two years together, with Rita going on to have a short-lived romance with actor Andrew Garfield.
But she is now giving her former relationship another go.
A source close to the singer said: “Rita and Andrew split because they were so busy, but they’ve realised they want to make things work. Both of their schedules are crazy - Rita with her Phoenix world tour and Andrew as one of the most in-demand producers in pop.
“But they re-connected this year and are making time to see each other when they can.
“They know that what they have is the real deal.
“Their friends all get on with each other and it just seemed crazy to them to throw away what they had.
“Her string of dates with Andrew Garfield really put things in perspective. She and Andrew Watt have always remained good friends.”
Rita was photographed with Andrew, at an event in Los Angeles last month. Before that they had not been seen together since an August appearance in New York.
Following their split last year, Rita spoke about what she looks for in a partner, saying: “I’m very big about personalities. I’m also a bit about attire and the looks and the whole package.”
Andrew, who has created songs for Cardi B, Camila Cabello, Little Mix and Selena Gomez, has been working on new projects in LA.
Given everything that has happened in the past six months, they will have plenty to write about when they do get back in the studio together.
Naught Boy is back
NAUGHTY Boy is making a return six years after debut album Hotel Cabana.
He is back today with the year’s first summer anthem in new single Undo, featuring Brit star Calum Scott and Jamaican dancehall singer Shenseea.
It is the first track from his forthcoming album, which will be have more huge collabs.
The DJ, left, said: “We need a bit of sunshine in our music right now. It’s the perfect time for a song like this and it brings out a new side in Calum.”
If the album is anything like this tune, it will have been worth the wait.
Rosie outlook
ROSIE Huntington-Whiteley looks incredible as she poses on a beach in a black bikini.
The model also showed off a polka dot swimsuit from her Rosie For Autograph Swim & Beachwear range for M&S.
After giving birth to son Jack in 2017, she took a year off work before making her return to modelling and designing for the iconic high street brand.
The blonde, who is engaged to actor Jason Statham, said: “I tried to take the time at home to enjoy those first special months with my family.”
It looks like she’s had no trouble getting back in the old routine.
Astrid S's come back
ASTRID S is back better than ever after taking a year away from the industry because she was “burnt out”.
The Norwegian singer, who returned with her banger Someone New last month, said: “I got really exhausted so I had a year out. I’m only just back at it releasing music. I really needed that year to get myself together and write.
“Sometimes you lose track of why you’re doing it, which is why I wanted to shift gears and just write songs.”
Astrid had endured three years of non-stop touring and promotion as she scored a string of hits in Europe.
She added: “I stepped back to realise what I wanted to do and what I wanted to talk about.
“The core of being an artist and a songwriter is the songs.”
Having heard her new music, it was well worth the wait.
Rob eyes Corden's job
BEING an X Factor judge has given Robbie Williams a taste for TV.
The singer is planning on launching his own chat show for British telly, citing James Corden as his role model.
He said: “James Corden is incredibly talented.
“I’m going to go into TV, X Factor has opened a few doors and James is my sort of inspiration for what I’m planning to be able to do. He makes it look so easy.”
And Rob could be eyeing up Idris Elba as his first guest, after developing a crush on the actor.
On an Instagram live stream, he added: “I have met Idris and he’s easy to have a man crush on.
“He’s everything you’d expect and want from Idris Elba. He’s just smooth and lovely and cool.”
Despite his telly aspirations, Robbie will have to focus on his X Factor judging duties first, after confirming he will be returning to the panel.
He said: “I do miss The X Factor, it’s a lot of fun. I think I’m doing The X Factor again . . . Simon said I am.”
With that show, nothing is confirmed until the contract is signed.

Caught live
AFTER five decades of feuds and the firing of guitar supremo Lindsey Buckingham last year, the jury was out on Fleetwood Mac.
But in a hit-laden set this week, the self-confessed gang of misfits – still fronted by Stevie Nicks and now including Neil Finn of Crowded House and Mike Campbell of Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers – proved their incredible back catalogue endures.
The newcomers proved worthy replacements, even bringing new highlights to the table with a rousing duet of Crowded House classic Don’t Dream It’s Over alongside a cover of Petty’s Free Fallin’.
But it’s the band’s classics including The Chain, Dreams, Little Lies and Landslide where the six-piece really find their stride.
Sure, Buckingham’s unique skills and personality are missed in moments – but not enough to dampen the mood.
Stevie may have forgotten the name of the venue as she took to the microphone, but this is a band who have been through the mill so many times it’s a miracle they’re on any stage at all. Don’t stop.

Sp-aced it, Kim
IT was one small step for man but one giant leap for Kim Kardashian.
She opted for this space suit- inspired outfit while on a day out in Los Angeles this week.
She was wrapping up warm after posting online about her surprise it was snowing in her home city of Calabasas, California.
She wrote on Instagram: “OK guys, it is snowing in Calabasas. Can someone please cover my outdoor furniture?”
Getting off the phone and doing it herself probably would have been more productive.
