Honey Boo Boo’s Mama June charged with ‘carrying crack pipe after being threatened by boyfriend Geno Doak’

Mama June - real name June Shannon - was allegedly found in possession of crack cocaine and a pipe at a petrol station in Alabama last week

MAMA June from reality TV show Honey Boo Boo has been charged with carrying a crack pipe.

June Shannon, 39, was reportedly approached by police at a petrol station in Macon County, Alabama, after reports she was being threatened by her boyfriend.

A spokesperson for Macon County District Attorney’s Office said that the substance is currently undergoing testing.

June and her partner Eugene "Geno" Doak has been charged with felony drug possession and misdemeanour unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Doak was also arrested and charged with third-degree domestic violence.

The reality star is the mum of Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson from the hit US programme.

Shannon later starred in her own show documenting her weight loss.

She is due to appear in court on the drugs charges on March 27.

Mum-of-four Mama June has four children - and her most famous offspring is her daughter Alana, aka Honey Boo Boo.

The 13-year-old reality star - who shot to fame on Toddlers & Tiara's in 2009 - recently wowed judges as she competed on Dancing With The Stars: Juniors at the end of last year.
