EastEnders star Dean Gaffney, 41, dumped by his model girlfriend Rebekah Rose-Ward, 25, after three years of dating
DEAN Gaffney’s EastEnders character Robbie Jackson has long been unlucky in love and, unfortunately, it seems to have rubbed off.
The actor has been dumped by his model girlfriend Rebekah Rose-Ward — who is 16 years his junior — after three years together.
They started dating shortly after he split from Sarah Burge, his childhood sweetheart and mother to his two children.
A source close to the former couple said: “Dean hit the jackpot when he got together with Rebekah but now she’s told him to take a hike.
“She got bored of his antics and felt like a trophy on his arm, not a girlfriend he treasured and wanted to marry. Dean was gutted when it happened but Rebekah had reached the end of her tether and left him.
“She feels like she is better off by herself and seeing as Dean thinks he’s some kind of stud, he’ll no doubt manage to charm someone else into being his girlfriend in no time.”
Rebekah is just three years older than Dean’s twin girls and fans had commented on how similar they all looked.
Their split came to light days after Dean boasted about his likeness to Armani model David Gandy.
In an interview with The Sun, he said of their similarity: “He’s kind of distinguished and the sheer fact that people even think that we remotely look alike ...I’ll take that one definitely for the team. I think it’s great.”
The actor, who found fame as hapless council worker Robbie in the BBC soap and became famous with his dog Wellard, had admitted cheating on ex-girlfriend Sarah. Dean said: “Women were my drug and now, looking back, I’m ashamed of my past. How many times did it happen? I couldn’t put a figure on it.”
At least he won’t get in trouble for that now.

Let's Talk
I AM getting behind The Sun’s campaign to raise awareness of suicide prevention and help combat the tragic numbers of young people taking their own lives, following the devastating death of Love Island’s Mike Thalassitis.
Suicide is the biggest killer of young people in the UK. Statistics show 1,600 Brits under the age of 35 die by their own hand each year – three-quarters of whom are men.
Backed by leading suicide prevention charity Papyrus, we are urging those driven to think about suicide to talk and share their concerns with friends, loved ones and professionals before it is too late.
Our Let’s Talk campaign – which has been backed by all three major political parties – asks those same friends and loved ones to talk to anyone they feel is acting suicidal.
Papyrus boss Ged Flynn said: “Mike’s death comes less than two weeks after that of The Prodigy singer Keith Flint.
“The danger is that fans may look at those two men and think, ‘Well, they had everything to live for, what have I got?’
“But no matter who you are, whether famous or not, everyone has times when they feel lonely. They have difficulties with relationships or financial problems.
“Society is getting better at talking about mental health but suicide is still a Cinderella subject, pushed aside and ignored.
“We need to help children and young people know that all human beings struggle. We can’t protect them from pain, but by having open conversations we can make sure they know they have choices.”
The Papyrus helpline receives 80,000 to 100,000 calls every year.

Mental illness doesn’t give a damn if you’re rich, famous, a girl, a boy, black or white, writes TV presenter Matt Johnson
THERE’S something deadly among us right now, killing on a daily basis our fathers, mothers, friends, husbands, wives, brothers, our sons, sisters and our daughters.
I really can’t imagine the pain a person must be in to take their own life but unfortunately I know what it’s like to be close.
Historically, mental illness has been considered an embarrassment, and many have endured in silence and solitude.
We are only recently starting to shed light on the depth and breadth of the problem, and its pervasiveness.
In 2017, 5,821 suicides were recorded in Great Britain, and suicide remains the most common cause of death for men aged 20 to 49 in England and Wales. One person in 15 has made a suicide attempt, this is something that touches many people we already know. Furthermore, nearly one in seven people experience mental health problems in the workplace. The silent increase in mental illnesses and suicide rates is a national emergency.
We need the Government to take mental health and mental wellness in schools seriously. And we need our Press and broadcasters to use their influence.
Treatment starts with de-stigmatising the disorders, having conversations about them.
Mental illness doesn’t give a damn if you’re rich, famous, a girl, a boy, black or white. It really doesn’t. We’re all in this together.

It's Nicole Kids/mum
NICOLE Kidman’s daughters are to appear with their mum in her new HBO series The Undoing.

It is not the girls’ first TV drama – they also popped up in Nicole’s previous HBO series.
The Aussie actress revealed to American talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: “They were in as extras in Big Little Lies, which I’ve never told anyone.”

What a silly Millie
MOST people wear thermals and ski jackets when they’re visiting freezing Finland.
But Millie Mackintosh threw caution to the wind and ventured out in this bikini to pose for a sexy snap outside the swanky lodge she’s staying in.
Her fun photo op soon backfired though, as the former Made In Chelsea regular posted the snap on Instagram – and admitted she had ended up getting locked out of her chalet.
Let’s just hope her husband Hugo Taylor came to her rescue fast.
David has got a talent for selling property
DAVID Walliams is gearing up for the launch of Britain’s Got Talent next month but before that he’s had another major payday.
The TV funnyman and children’s author has banked a £2.1million profit from the sale of the North London home he shared with ex-wife Lara Stone – which previously belonged to Noel Gallagher.
He bought the three-bedroom pad in swanky Belsize Park for £3.25million in 2005 but has just sold it on for £5.35million.
David put the home up for sale in June last year.
It features a large entrance hall, roof terrace and a garden.
Noel named the home Supernova Heights in the Nineties and it became synonymous with his wild house parties before he sold it in 1999.

With all of David’s dosh, he could live practically anywhere he wanted.
