James Bond bosses spark fury by filming epic explosions in Norway’s picturesque forests
Environmental campaigners are trying to sabotage the film in response to buildings being specially erected just to be blown up
JAMES Bond bosses have sparked fury by filming massive explosions in Norway’s scenic forests.
The action scenes have triggered protests, with environmental campaigners now trying to sabotage the snow-covered set.
Buildings have been specially erected just to be blown up, while skiing groups claim they have had to divert their routes.
The protests could lead to delays costing thousands.
Makers have a licence to film in the stunning woodland in the Trehorningen area of Akershus County in southern Norway.
An industry insider said: “Norway’s environmental policies are deemed to be among the best worldwide and natives are hugely sensitive to the issues caused by the high budget set.

“Trekkers who hike and ski in the area are understandably appalled by areas of the nature being cleared of snow. But officials have claimed that all traces of the filming will be gone by spring.”
Bond star Daniel Craig, 51, is already on set for the movie, which has the working title Shatterhand.
The 25th 007 film is due for release in April.
