Things couldn't be more different for Peter and his ex after the singer revealed he has been nominated for a top Hollywood film prize
PETER Andre has revealed he's been nominated for Best Actor at the North Hollywood Film Festival - as a judge slammed his ex-wife Katie Price for skipping her court date.
Pete re-shared a short clip posted by North Hollywood Cinefest, where the nominations for the different categories had been announced and his name was featured in the Best Actor For A Short Film section for his role in The Inheritance.
He wrote: "Wow wow wow. I’ve been nominated for best actor at the North Hollywood Film Festival. Just being nominated is EVERYTHING. Nothing else needs to happen. So so happy."
Fans soon flocked to the post to congratulate Pete on his recent achievement.
One wrote: "Congrats, amazing."
While another added: "Wow. Perhaps this is the start of a whole new career for you @peterandre ?? Exciting times"
A third commented: "Congratulations, well done you @peterandre xx"
A fourth said: "Congratulations fingers crossed you win it, but if not what an achievement anyway, well done x"
Meanwhile, the same can't be said for Pete's ex wife, Katie Price, 40, after the star was blasted by a judge for skipping her court hearing to holiday in Thailand with her 30-year-old toyboy Kris Boyson.
The former glamour model was due at Crawley Magistrates Court yesterday after cops charged her over an alleged playground row where she is said to have screamed "Are you enjoying f***ing my husband” at ex Kieran Hayler's new girlfriend.
Despite the hearing being adjourned until next week, District Judge Amanda Kelly called Katie "disrespectful".
She said: "I believe she hasn’t turned up today. She has something better to do."
"This demonstrates a lack of respect for the court process."
However, Katie's friends told The Sun Online that the star is not worried.
An insider said: “Katie is very relaxed about the whole thing. She’s told friends that ‘they can’t put me away for swearing’ and says she’ll sort it out when she’s back from Thailand."
