Girls Aloud’s Sarah Harding ‘quits fame’ and ‘goes into hiding’ after her solo comeback flops
GIRLS Aloud singer Sarah Harding has reportedly "given up on fame" and "gone into hiding" after her unsuccessful comeback.
The 37-year-old has remained out of the spotlight since her romance with fellow Celebrity Big Brother contestant Chad Johnson ended last year and her hopes to of a solo music project were derailed.
As well as skipping glitzy soirees, Sarah Harding has also quit her social media channels, having last posted on Instagram in May 2018 and hasn't tweeted since August of last year.
The publication also reported that her official website has gone offline and she no longer has a manager or publicist.
A source close to Sarah told them: "She has nothing going on work-wise right now and hasn't had anything in quite a while."
Previously, it was reported in 2017 that Sarah had been planning to record a follow-up album to 2015 EP Threads, but it never came to fruition.
Sarah's disappearance hasn't gone unnoticed by some of her followers, who commented under her last Instagram post asking the singer to "comeback".
One worried fan wrote: "Hi Sarah, hope your ok & hope your happy whatever your doing, I hope you return to social media soon we really miss you X".
"Where are u Sarah? miss you," another wrote. "I hope you have been in the studio all this time."
A fourth simply commented: "Come back".
The report comes after she was kicked out of her rented pad after her pets pooed all over the luxury home.
The singer, who has three French bulldogs and two cats, is alleged to have caused more than £17,000 of damage during her six months in the Buckinghamshire property.
A source told the : "The landlord asked Sarah to leave after six months, using the break clause in their tenancy agreement.
"There was a falling out on both sides and the landlord said that Sarah had caused thousands of pounds worth of damage, which Sarah disputed. Among the claims were that her pets had soiled the house and that she had let the dogs run riot."
The landlord was initially reluctant to return the full £4,000 deposit but did eventually give back some of the fee, according to the insider.
Sarah has reportedly found a new place to stay, but struggled at first as the landlord refused to give a reference.
The party-loving star quit London in 2008 for a quieter life in the country.
In 2017 she sold her plush four-bedroom home in Casden, Bucks, amid her romance with The Bachelor star Chad.
