Dancing On Ice’s Wes Nelson cries over Megan Barton Hanson break up as he admits he misses their ‘great bond’

WES Nelson cried as he discussed his split from Megan Barton Hanson in a Dancing On Ice VT.

The Love Island star, 20, broke down as he admitted he's yet to heal from the split and misses their "really good bond".

In a clip set to air on tomorrow night's show, Wes' emotions got the better of him as he discussed his ex.

He wept: "Me and Megs we had a really, really good bond and it makes me upset now to talk about it.

"It isn't great, and it was really, really difficult at the time."

The couple split at the end of January after falling head over heels in the Love Island villa last summer.

Last week The Sun revealed Megan is dating Dover Athletic player Jaydon Gibbs after the split. 

Meanwhile, Wes' VT also saw him gush over his mum and dad's long-time romance.

The celebrities will skate to a song that "means something to them" this week - with Wes choosing his parents' wedding song, Luther Vandross classic Never Too Much.

He gushed: "My mum and dad genuinely mean the absolute world to me.

The star then appeared to make a small dig at his relationship with Megan, adding: "I think my mum and dad completely personify the world 'love'.

"Of course I've experienced love but I'd love to love like my parents do."
