Love Island’s Alexandra Cane left bloody and half-blind by £3,000 facial before showing off dramatic results
The 27 year old underwent a fully ablative CO2 laser resurfacing after years of battling with impetigo
LOVE Island's Alexandra Cane has proudly shown off the result of her £3,000 facial, which left her half blind.
The 27 year old splashed out a whopping sum on Fully Ablative CO2 Laser Resurfacing treatment, which was carried out by Doctor Asif Hussein last month, in a bid to erase scarring left following years of battling impetigo.
"Fully Ablative CO2 Laser Resurfacing is one procedure used to obliterate all of your skin concerns in one sitting, with just a single treatment with guaranteed results!
"This highly complex laser is used to target the most extreme cases of acne scarring, pigmentation types, and deep wrinkles among a vast majority of other issues. It is by far the most powerful skin rejuvenation technique available on the market!"
Although Alexandra has fully recovered from the beauty session, she revealed her eyes felt very sore afterwards.
She shared a video of her bloody-looking face on Instagram shortly after the expensive procedure.
Speaking in the clip posted last month, she said: "This the current state of skin, it looks quite blood. It’s starting to scab over now but all is good according to my consultant.
“Hopefully in a few days all of this scabbing should start peeling off. The most sore part is my eyes, but the rest of my skin feels pretty good”, Alexandra added.
While has insisted patients will heal after five days, Alexandra previously stated it will take a full five months to completely recover with reduced swelling.
She previously said: "My face was so puffy I could barely see. I cried because I didn't realise how swollen my face would be."
