Dancing on Ice viewers brand show a ‘fix’ after James Jordan ‘got more skate time than Saara Aalto’
Fans are convinced James got longer on the ice than the other contestants... and they think Saara is being deliberately undermarked by the judges
DANCING On Ice viewers have branded the show a fix - after James Jordan appeared to get more skate time than Saara Aalto.
James and his partner Alexandra Schauman kicked off the programme with a Flintstones routine for the Time Tunnel-themed show.
And fans are convinced that he got longer on the ice to impress the judges, taking to Twitter to make their feelings known.
One wrote: "Slight fix for James having twice the amount of skate time #DancingOnIce".
Another said: "I can't believe I care but James was skating about 30 seconds longer than Saara seemed a bit unfair #DancingOnIce".
A third wrote: "Saara got about 10 seconds. James gets 2 minutes!! Fix #DancingOnIce"
A spokesman for Dancing On Ice told The Sun Online: "The show is not fixed!"
Fans are also convinced that the judges have been undermarking Saara, who scored 32 after receiving eights from each of the judges after dancing to Queen's Killer Queen.
One tweeted: "I feel like the judges have been harsher on Saara than anyone else for a few weeks now #DancingOnIce."
Another commented: "Another week of the scoring and comments for @saaraaalto seeming to be downplaying her efforts.
"I was going to give her a vote tonight but she can have two just to make up for the judges being misery guts."
A third STATED: "I love Melody but Saara is getting all my votes tonight, the constant undermarking is a joke #DancingOnIce."
DOI returns next Sunday, 18:00, on ITV.
